Diamante Scholars Website
The Diamante Scholars team came to us with a website that was actively working against them. It was built on Divi, which meant every small update — a deadline change, a new photo, a quick text edit — required someone with a dev background. For a program that needs to keep students and families informed in real time, that's a dealbreaker.
So we rebuilt the whole thing from scratch in Squarespace.
What We Did
Website Strategy · UX/UI Design · Full Site Build · Content Architecture · Visual Layout · Mobile Optimization
The Build
We designed a clean, student-first website on a platform their staff can actually use — no developer needed, no tickets, no waiting. The new site reflects what Diamante Scholars is all about: helping high-potential students build brighter futures.
Here's what we built out:
Dual-Language Experience (English + Spanish): The full site toggles seamlessly between both languages — navigation, content, CTAs, everything. This program serves a bilingual community, and the website should too.
Hero Section: Strong value prop, clear calls to action, zero confusion.
Requirements Overview: Side-by-side academic requirements and activities, designed for quick scanning — because nobody wants to dig for that info.
Program Expectations: A clear breakdown of what students actually get — college coursework, mentorship, internships, personalized guidance.
Testimonials Slider: Real student stories front and center. Nothing sells a program like the people in it.
Photo-Rich Layout: Authentic student imagery throughout. Stock photos? Not here.
FAQs: A straightforward FAQ section that answers the questions staff were fielding over and over. Less inbox, more impact.
Mobile Layout: Students and families are visiting this site from their desktops & phones. We built for both.
Why Squarespace
Simple: it removed the biggest pain point. Divi looked fine on the front end but was a nightmare to manage on the back end. Squarespace lets their team update deadlines, swap photos, edit text, and manage FAQs quickly — without putting in a support request or calling us. That's the whole point.
The Result
The new Diamante Scholars site is bilingual, mobile responsive, visually engaging, and — most importantly — easy for their staff to maintain without us. It went from a site that created bottlenecks to one that actually supports their mission day to day.
That's the kind of work we love doing. Not just making something look good — making it *work* for the people who use it every single day.
