Terms of Service
Effective November 8, 2026
These terms cover your use of www.demandbeacon.com (the "site") and the free SEO and AEO audit on it, run by Demand Beacon LLC ("Demand Beacon," "we," "us"). By using the site, you're agreeing to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These terms are about the website. If you hire us, the work is covered by a separate written agreement, and that agreement controls if the two ever conflict.
1. Using the site
You're welcome to read, browse and share links to anything here. Please don't:
- use the site for anything illegal
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the systems behind it
- upload or send viruses or other harmful code
- scrape or bulk-download our content, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission
2. The free audit
The audit checks one public web page against a set of technical SEO and AEO factors and gives you a score and suggestions. A few ground rules:
- Only audit pages you own or have permission to review, and don't use the tool to probe or overload anyone's site.
- The score is an automated snapshot of the technical basics at that moment. It doesn't account for things like your reputation, reviews or competitors, and it isn't a promise of rankings, AI citations, traffic or revenue.
- We may limit, change or pause the audit at any time, for example if it's being misused.
If you enter your email to unlock the full report, we'll handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Our content
The writing, case studies, graphics, photos, logos and design on this site belong to Demand Beacon or the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You can quote a short passage with credit and a link back. For anything more, such as republishing an article or using our name or logo, ask us first in writing.
4. What you send us
When you fill out a form or email us, please make sure what you send is accurate and yours to share. We'll handle it under our Privacy Policy. Getting in touch doesn't make you a client or create a professional relationship. That only happens with a signed agreement.
5. Our advice, results and examples
Blog posts, guides and audit suggestions are general information, not advice for your specific business. Search engines and AI assistants change constantly, so what worked before may not work the same way again.
Case studies and testimonials describe real results for specific clients. Every business is different, and sharing those results doesn't mean you'll get the same ones.
6. Links to other sites
We link to other websites when they're useful. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
7. No warranties
We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, and we make no warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose. That includes any guarantee of search rankings, AI visibility, traffic or other outcomes. Where the law doesn't allow some of these exclusions, they apply as far as the law permits.
8. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Demand Beacon and its owners, team members and contractors won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of the site or the audit. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Your responsibility
If you break these terms or misuse the site, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our resulting costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees.
10. Changes
We may change or remove parts of the site, and update these terms, at any time. When the terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
11. Colorado law
These terms are governed by Colorado law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the site will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Eagle County, Colorado, and you agree to their jurisdiction. This doesn't take away any consumer rights you have where you live that can't be waived.
12. The rest
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy are the full agreement between you and us about using the site.
